AWUC EMBRACED WITH EXCITEMENT AT THE NATIONAL YOUTH CONFERENCE HELD IN CHOMA, ZAMBIA.
The National youth conference held in Choma, Southern Province of Zambia from the 9th – 15th of December, 2025, was filled with excitement and pride as it welcomed AWUC as an initiative of the Wesleyan Church.
We had the incredible opportunity to connect with the youth, sharing the University vision through presentations, a raffle draw, and one-on-one conversations. Our team showcased its proposed academic programs, explained the work scholarship, and guided the youth through a visual mockup of the future campus, bringing the dream of AWUC to life.
One of the highlights was the Expression of Interest Survey, where an impressive 234 young people expressed their desire to study at AWUC. Nursing and Theology sparked the most enthusiasm, with Secondary and Primary Education following closely behind.
The unwavering support from Zambian Wesleyan youth was both humbling and inspiring. Their excitement and sense of ownership made it clear that AWUC is more than just a university but a dream coming to life and the journey is only just beginning!
